Cardtography Map - Lake Michigan

Celebrate the beauty of Lake Michigan right at home with a handmade Cardtography bathymetric depth map. Hand-designed and assembled, each map is a labour of love. Built off of real underwater survey maps, the layered paper-cut style gives your map depth and texture.

This piece is a 12" x 12" map of Lake Michigan, capturing the bathymetry (depth) of the lake waters.

 This map features 5 layers of brilliant coloured cardstock - white representing the land, and four shades of colour, each darker layer capturing a deeper section of water.

Each of Cardtography's maps are meticulously hand-designed, then cut and hand-assembled by artist Cameron Seaborne in London, Ontario.
